I was planning on making some flowers with gum paste, but as I was letting my flowers dry they started cracking. I rolled everything back up and then remembered something. One night I was looking through Crafsty.com and came upon Marina Sousa’s “Jeweled Wedding Cake” session. She made beautiful and adorable pearl balls out of gum paste. So I decided to make some myself just to make myself happy. They turned out sparkling!
I rolled my gum paste in various sized balls, dipped my toothpick/wires into melted chocolate, and then inserted the toothpick into the gum paste ball. I let them dry for a bit then dipped one ball into the melted chocolate, tapped off as much as possible, then dipped the ball into white pearls. Tada! Adorable Pearl Balls.
Spring Cupcakes! I have tons of floral print cupcake liners. What a perfect liner to use for this spring. These are Super Moist Lemon Cupcakes with a Pastel Pink Almond Italian Buttercream and topped with an Adorable Pearl Ball. Cute for Mother’s Day, Girl’s Party, Tea Parties, and craving satisfaction. ^_^
These little white beautifuls are perfect for weddings or any formal events. My moist Lemon Cupcake with just a White Almond Italian Buttercream and topped with an Adorable Pearl Ball.
