Love What You Do, Do What You Love

Have you ever fallen in love over and over again? Story of my baking life. A couple months ago, I relocated and started living with roommates. It wasn’t the best feeling to simply start baking whenever I wanted to. I didn’t want to bother my roommates and there wasn’t enough fridge space to hold anything. This past week, I started two cake projects. I almost forgot how it was like to fall in love with baking. Pure happiness. Humming to myself. Singing out loud. Thoughtless. Perfect.

Anyways, I made my two beautiful cousins birthday cakes. The top one is a 4-layered Pistachio Cake soaked in Vanilla Syrup filled with Raspberry Curd and frosted with Mascarpone Buttercream. Absolutely loved the contrast of the tartness and sweetness. The cake to the left is a 4-layered Red Velvet frosted with White Chocolate Italian Buttercream. ❤ Simply fell in love with flowers this time. Until next time, Happy Eatings, Happy Baking!
