big hearted cake


A late Valentine celebration cake for a friend. A red velvet cake frosted with italian cream cheese buttercream (IBC). I loved the look of this two colored cake, simply red and white. I’ve always struggled with the Italian cream cheese buttercream though. It always seems to curdle up on me. I have tried so many times to perfect this Italian cream cheese buttercream to look like the other IBC, but I have only succeeded once in the past year. It’s my biggest challenge yet.
