Mini Hats for Big Cupcakes

A few days ago I attended the very first Hmong American Education Fund Awards Banquet. I had a great time at the event, learned more about the program, shed a few tears, and enjoyed myself. A friend of mine, invited me to this event and invited me to bring my business there too. I brought myself and these adorable cupcakes! I donated these 4 dozen cupcakes to the event and they loved them. Simply two flavors, Double Coconut and Red Velvet. Coconut Chiffon Cupcake with Coconut Italian Buttercream and The Classic Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Buttercream. The one thing that made these little guys special were the hat and jewelry toppers. Spent hours making these adorableness. All were made with fondant and detailed with piping tips, pearl dust, and edible markers. At the end of the event, there were only 2 big trays of assorted cookies left on that dessert table. LOVE. Happy Eatings!
