Simply Berries and Cream

I had a urgent craving for a Strawberry and Cream Cake. Viola! I made a Genoise Sponge Cake, it was a little dry, so I soaked it with Amaretto Syrup. I sure love my Amaretto! ❤ Perfect sweetness and perfect aroma for this cake. Next, I layered it with Vanilla Pastry Cream and Strawberries, then piped Whipped Cream on the outsides. 3 layers of delightful-ness. Next time, a more moist Sponge Cake, until then, Happy Eatings!
